Micheals comming to Bayers Lake

I have several friends that are really into scrapbooking. You've just said what they say - they love the process and it feeds their souls. Different strokes - I just prefer a needle and thread!

Scrapbooking has never appealed to me. While reading this thread it finally dawned on me that I don't even have most of my pictures in albums and scrapbooking is a similar thing to do. I've been told that I'm hopeless.

My friends can't understand how I have the patience to sit for hours doing needlework, or reading about needlework, or shopping for needlework and find scrapbooking a boring idea. They seem to think it's closely related, but I just don't see it that way.

I find scrapbooking terribly boring too - but I can't help but see all the neat stuff to use for this hobby at Michael's .... but the Dollar Stores are carrying beautiful stuff these days too to support this hobby. Really nice stuff but not at Michael's prices. We all have our *vices*. :-))

Lucille that is intersting ,i just had the same thought, i sort of peeped towards the drawers and boxes i have of photos, and thought Gee i don`t even have the urge to arrange those photos in albums ... [and i walk with Camera in my bag always !!!]

Juat like you i can spend hours on my fiberart and craft , but arranging pics. I can spend hours arranging a catalog for an exhibition, preparing texts for printing , proofreading whole books ,,, but scrapbooking NO NO . We probably have a different patience , :>:>:> mirjam
