Jim, your nudes are exceptional. I'm particularly keen on the effects, such as the lace pillows and the sheer gown. I'm sure quite fussy to stitch. Vargas women always intrigue me because, like Audubon, he poses them in unnatural ways for greatest effect.

She's lovely. I think Vargas himself would approve.

I make my own programs using Pattern Maker. However, I suspect any program would produce similar effects. Basically I get a picture on my screen of the right size that I am prepared to stitch, and convert it at one pixel per stitch. By "right size", I mean the right number of pixels, so there is not an excessive amount of stitching. When I look at the picture, it needs enough detail to make the end result worthwhile. I then use the maximum number of colors allowed (90) in order to get as much detail as possible. Over the years, and with some disasters, I can now pretty much get a pattern that I like to stitch. Whether this applies to anyone else, I have no idea. Jim.

Sorry, Victoria. I do not know what PM Stitch Creator is. My software is just called "Pattern Maker, for cross stitch". That is all I know. Jim.

Absolutely lovely Jim but, OMG, she's nekkid (RD&H)!! Just thought I would say it first :-) and mention that you might want to move the "nude pictures" disclaimer back to the top of the page. You just KNOW that eventually there will be someone new-ish to RCTN who doesn't know about your penchant for stitching nudes, will go to the site, have a coronary because you dare to make patterns and stitch nudes and then have the temerity to actually post photos of said nudes to the 'net and THEN tell us about it -- LOLOL! Well, all I can say is THANK YOU dear -- your pieces are quite wonderful whether they be nekkid wimmin or nekkid stars :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

As usual, Jim - your work is gorgeous. I wouldn't have the patient to stitch all those 'confetti' stitches.
