Does anybody know anything about the health of Stonehouse Publications, a m agazine distributor in Canada?
I had a subscription to Embroidery & Cross Stitch through them, renewed my subscription earlier this year and never received another issue.
An internet search has turned up a few mentions of them *possibly* going ou t of business, but nothing official from the company. The biggest hint is t hat clicking on any links to go deeper than the company's home page takes y ou do a generic placeholder page with links to unrelated companies.
A related company, Transmedia-Group, also does not have any mention of cess ation on its webpage.
In the meantime, I think I've found a few places where I can get the missin g back issues and use a subscription service to continue my subscription. I 'm just angry that they took my money without any intention of fulfilling t he subscription.
If any of you were using them to get magazines (they also had Inspirations and other popular Australian needlework/craft publications, as well as *man y* magazines on other topics), you might want to check your issues to see i f they have stopped coming.
Any information anyone can provide is greatly appreciated!
