Found at Goodwill for a whole 99 cents - a linen stamped vanity runner - I'd have bought it just for the fabric but the pattern is very clear and really pretty. I might just toss some colors and actually stitch it
NOW does Evonder Art ring any bells
I can try and take pictures to post on RTCNP if that helps. I'll put it on my FB wall too.

The mystery name appears to be solved (via posting of pictures on facebook)
The name stamped/printed on the fabric is Wonder Art, and is a brand currently owned by Caron International - but according to their web site all it is now is Latch Hook rug kits :(
Browsing through eBay, however, brings up lots of stamped embroidery sets (some stamped, some crewel, some regular - pillow cases, table runners, quilt squares, dish towels, etc), most from the
1970's-1980's... however, there were a few from as far back as the 1950's!
Looks like Cheryl contacted Caron to see if they might still have some of the old papers in a warehouse somewhere (you never know!!!) to see if she could get the directions.
My suggestion is to stitch it with DMC Perle (or floss) in a crewel fashion and have fun with it!

I just might try and learn cutwork and do it as intended - with modern colors!
It has some an Art Deco feel to it!
I'd have posted pictures by now to RCTNP but I can't figure out how to get the pictures from my phone to the computer since all the cables are MIA
