If you can find them, there is a couple series of roses called "Explorer Roses", and Parkland Roses. They were bred at Canadian government experimental nurseries specifically for extreme environments, and in the case of the Explorer series are named for explorers. I grew "John Cabot", and it was lovely. I'm planning to put a couple in here at the new house.

Bad form, I know, to post to my own message, but it occurred to me last night as I was watching the weather, that *Dawne* sent this stuff (and continues to send, I might add!) our way. And speaking of Dawne, I haven't seen anything from her for a few days. Maybe she froze up there in Saskatchewan????

I saw pics the other night of the weather in Saskatchewan - thought of Dawne and said nothing when I saw the weather was moving on down to you lol Not going to rat out my prairie girl.
