Needlepoint rug w/o frame?

I'd agree. There are a number of factors that contribute to needlepoint bias and a frame is just one of them. The point about canvas manhhandling is what I found most interesting.

One note, she says you should never do needlepoint when you're angry, stabbing motions or not. Tension turns out to be too tight. Dora

Herrschners used to have a scrolling quilt frame for about $60 that will fit any rug canvas. It won't take high tension but it WILL make the rug easy to work and easy to put away when not in session.
