New Finish & Photos

Yeah, finally finished my online class project, and photos posted on RCTNP.

(second one down).I've totally changed the design, my thoughts on the artistic merit of the original design were at odds with spending many hours of my time to create it. That said, I'm no artist but thought that the end product is quite pleasing.

You weren't kidding about changing things! Good job - it looks really lovely, and congrats on the finish. The original is nice, too - but you have to have what makes you happy - great job.

It was simply a motif that was the right size to fit - something that became the singular most important feature of a design throughout this project.

Its from Repertoire des Motifs by Valerie Lejeune, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to you - Paige from Madsamplar books has it in stock regularly

- in the series there is also one on alphabets and one on Frises, or borders. If I recall rightly MadSamplar are in the N/E of the US.Joanne
