i just started a marc i. saastad pattern. the pattern is of the rose faith and is wonderful. but the pattern is muilt-page and i was wondering if anyone have ideal on how to protect those pages.

I sometimes put the individual pages in plastic bags, with a piece of cardboard between the pages to stiffen it. That way it stays clean and I can mark the outside of the bag without destroying the pattern.

I usually make a photocopy (a "working copy") and carry that around with the project and mark it up so that my original stays neat.

When I have things that are a whole lotta pages I sometimes put them in a loose-leaf notebook in plastic page protectors. But that's if it's LOTS of pages.
I very often will make working copies, in other cases. Then I can mark off what I've done with a pencil and it's easier to find my place the next time.

Photocopy them and put the chart away, then you can just mark up the photocopies as you stitch, leaving the original as good as new.
