New Year's Stitching Resolution

My New Year's stitching resolution is to give myself 'a minimum' of 2 hours stitching time every day, starting today. Am I alone in this, or does 'life' seem to allow for less and less time for stitching? This way I plan on finishing many UFO's and WIP by Christmas 2006. I wonder how the 'UFO to framed ratio' will look by then...right now it's leaning heavily toward the UFO side.....well o.k.......VERY heavily. :)

That is also my resolution. We are retired, but I always seem to have something going on, and just do not make an effort to SIT DOWN and STITCH!! I plan to have two ongoing projects. The daytime project, which needs more attention, and the fun, quick and easy ones for in the evening!

I should also like to finish all the WIPs, which need about 30 minutes apiece; and then start on some of the ones that need more time and effort. Maybe if the computer broke, I WOULD have more time!LOL

My Resolution is to complete my 3 WIP's by the end of February. Then to start 3 more AND have them completed by December '06. That would be

6 completions in '06 and bring me back up to speed after a long hiatus.

WIP's: Feline Fascination, Lily Pond Dreams, Cuddly Friends crib cover

Looking at my cross stitch journal, this resolution may be a bit ambitious as I started Feline Fascination January '05 and it's just on the edge of

1/2 complete. On the other hand, it's Winter. No yard work. We will see.

Happy New Year to all, Mag

If I ever finish knitting the never ending baby set, I'll get back to my blackwork project, and the sampler chart, and the needlework pillow and, and, and. The list could go on and on.

My resolution is to finish (finally) The Storyteller as well as a baby and wedding sampler and a quilt that needs quilted and finished. I'm not making any other promises to myself though...
