I'll bee heading for bed shortly, but I'm sitting here drinking my tea and reading rctn.
I got home about an hour ago from the Creative Needlework Show in Toronto. (I'm working at The Sampler booth). My feet are killing me from standing on the concrete for the past three days with one more to go).
An interesting change from earlier shows - definitely less needlework. In fact I noticed that over the door it said Creativ (sic) Festival - Fiber and Paper Arts. Lots of scrapbooking, and quilting. Very few of the needlework shops are there, although several of the distributors (Crossed Wings, Cedar Hill, Heart's Content, etc.) are. And that's a bit of a bone of contention with the retailers - after all, these are the people that they buy from being in direct competition with them at the show.
One nice thing is that they put all the needlework folks together so people don't have to wonder all over to find us.
