OT: anyone using Picassa

Is there anyone who is using Picasa to organize all their digital pics. I'm looking for testamonials. Our first attempt at using this type of software involved Kodak - made DH curse every time. Second attempt - was the software that came with our Nikon - and though it sounded good, it isn't. Now we have pics stored in several different programs on the computer and I need something that I can learn quickly.

I use Picasa2 and I love it. It very easy to use, allows you to organize your pictures into as many different groups as you like and automatically resizes pictures when emailing them. It has the best 'red eye' remover I've found. I haven't used the slide show feature but have seen them and they look nice. Good free software in my opinion.

I've been using Picasa since its inception and love it...

I maintain several websites (all with loads of photos) and am able to track all of them - including those on removable media...

I will gladly recommend it.

I have used ThumbsPlus for years.

also have used Picassa and a few others, but this is the top of the line for me. Another one Flip Album

which I have, puts your photos into an album.I am pretty sure they have trial versions in case you want to give them a try.
