OT: GeoBear Stastus

Hi Guys, Well, GeoBear has left Sweden -- on Tuesday I think. I've been a bit "crotchety" of late so haven't posted earlier. Lena (Raechel's "aunt" in Sweden) didn't tell me if she remembered to send GB to Dawne or if she went ahead and sent him to Sheena. So -- SHEENA -- are you to home? You've been posting but I don't know if you have web access where you were going to be staying! I think he was sent before the Iceland volcano decided to put on a show of force!!! Dawne, if you receive him soon, PLEASE post and let us know, OK? If we don't hear from you by mid-week next week, we will have to assume he was sent to Sheena and she's not home OR he is languishing in an airport somewhere. VBS -- I should have been more diligent about making sure that Lena knew to send him to Dawne but if he's held up en route, who he was sent to is a moot point! Regardless, we'll know where he is this time next week -- LOLOL!

Now off to play bridge - yesterday I played with three men who picked me up in the breakfast room lol Very nice, far better than me, they wanted me on their team so they could play in a lower bracket. A bit mind bending for me and in the end it was my partner who made a grievous error and cost us the first win, much to my relief! Today one of my regular partners and I are playing with a pair for the same reason I played with the other guys. All very interesting --- if you are a bridge player.

Where is this Gatlinburg you are staying at? If it's in Tennessee, I'm gonna be totally upset. That G'burg is only about a 2 hour drive from me and I would have made DH drive me up there just so's I could meet you! OOOO -- we could pester each other face to face -- LOLOL! I'm pretty sure that Lena e-mailed me Tuesday afternoon saying she would put him in the post that evening. Only time will tell!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

NOW you tell MOI!!! And all this time we could have been picking at each other in person! WHAT the hell are you doing down in this neck o' the woods?? And have you run up to Pigeon Forge to visit Dixie Darlins' LNS and have lunch at the Old Mill Restaurant? They make killer corn chowder -- to die for even if it does have a bit of bell pepper in it. OH and the corn fritters are superb too! The Cat House is just down the street from the restaurant and they have some great cat gifts. The Christmas Shop is also unbeatable -- one of the best I have ever been in and I've been in a lot of them. Oh how I wish I had known you were going to be down this way. Here I thought you were going the other side of the pond since I don't remember you ever saying where you would actually be! Hope you have been having fun and been kickin' some serious butt at the bridge table!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
