OT GS Help needed

Sorry if this posts twice - Google is hiccuping this morning:

I spent Saturday out of town and yesterday sick, so I did not have time to come up with a craft for our meeting tonight, and I am coming to the source of all knowledge for help:

I need a Halloween related craft idea for 4-6 grade Junior Girl Scouts

- not too easy, not so hard it can't be finished in about an hour. I checked Family Fun and a couple of other sites and didnt' find anything.

Help as soon as possible please - I have to run to Michael's at lunchtime!

TIA

Linda

P.S. No Gimp!

I got some orange T-shirts and sparkly black fabric paint for the two littlest ...

Take a glass or a piece of Tupperware and pencil a circle on the T-shirt, which will be your pumpkin. Freehand the face and a stem.

I also freehanded "Trick or Treat" across the top.

If you want to print out directions for the girls, it's the freebie on my design page

Not purely Halloween but fun - get pony beads in "harvest colors" and some raffia and brown pipe cleaners and safety pins.

String beads on pipe cleaners, 8-10, bend in half and twist in raffia to make "Indian Corn" pins.

I actually came up with three ideas (being healthy today may have something to do with it):

  1. Get glass ornaments (procrastination means they are on sale this week lol) and glow in the dark paint - paint Halloween figures on same. May add some glow in the dark thread.

  1. Make those glue/string ornaments around ballons using glow in the dark gimp and/or thread. May add small bats or other creepy crawlies in middle, making them more like "cages".

  2. Pipe cleaner bendable mummies.

Should be fun!
