GS Scrapbooking activity

July 13-16, I took my Junior GS troop camping. One of our selected activities was scrapbooking. What else?! I was so excited about this activity. I packaged up 8-10 photos of various troop activities and gave each girl a packet to scrap. They went nuts with the stickers, but I was excited to see some of them trying to use fibers. One child used a ribbon to frame-mat her picture. It looked cute.

They are not your usual LOs, but take a look...you can find them in the TAC2005 album in my gallary:

I have tons of pictures left over. The girls will have lots more scrapbooking activities in their future. :-)

Amy, Sounds like a fun activity. I take my troop cabin camping the first weekend in Nov every year. One of our activities is scrapbooking too. The girls make accordian albums of each of their activities throughout the year. They love it. Last year we added stamping to the supplies and they had a blast making cards and stationery along with the albums. We were thinking of doing paperbag albums this year. Girls (and boys) can be so creative when given the supplies and the space to do their own thing. Sandy

Amy, it looks like everyone had a great time! I can just imagine one of those girls becoming a scrapping addict in years to come and looking back with fond memories at their first attempts! :))
