Belated Happy Birthday to you, Sharon. DH decided that he was staying "seeben" this year...I thought he at least was going to hit 8. 29 was a great year, and continues to be.......or so I recolllect.

Hope the snows aren't too awful for you, and that you were able to enjoy your wintry birthday.

So sorry. There are times when I wonder how someone who sort of grew up in Miami ended up living with snow. But only occasionally. The weather is kind of okay here for now - though we still have snow (not too much) piled up on our yard, etc. When our neighbor was delivering girl scout cookies the other day, in the cold windy evening, I had to apologize for the house mess, and me coming to the door in sweats looking a mess. We were talking about my having been kind of housebound with the being sick thing for a few weeks - and he said "We can't wait for this winter to break - the kids are tired of it, too." Not the snow you have, but it's stayed cold here, too cold for fun outdoors, not enough snow to sled - and I guess people just get cranky or restless.

Hope some of your snow melts away, without flooding. And you don't have to go to eating it...maybe snow tea? Snow coffee?
