OT: Happy Easter - Happy Spring - Happy Happy

Apr 04, 2010 3 Replies

Just wishing Happy Stuff to everyone, regardless of what spring holiday you celebrate :-)! Christians have Easter, Jews have Passover but I don't know what other faiths might celebrate at this time. There is the Spring Solstice to be celebrated (probably the basis for all the other holidays celebrated at this time) but I don't know of anything specific that Muslims or the Eastern religions might celebrate. Can anyone enlighten us about this? CiaoMeow >^;;^<

And add my best wishes to all of you, too...regardless.

Indeed - well spoken, ladies. We enjoyed the traditional mixed morning of lox, eggs & onions (matzoh brei was Sat), with matzoh, followed by Easter chocolates (no marshmallows or jelly beans for me....yet). And, well, for dinner - corned beef and cabbage (with the taters/carrots/parsnips). Hey - DH said at least the corned beef was "pink" so it kind of kept the link to his mom's standard ham... I just can't do that during Passover.

Anyhow - enjoy whatever holidays, and the glorious start to spring.

The neighbors had an Easter party for the kids -complete with someone in a chicken suit entertaining in the yard. Too cute.
