OT: I will have AC tommorrow!

They are coming in tommorrow to put in my new setup! The fan, which is part of the furnace, did die, and because the mfg is no longer in business, parts are not available. So I'm replacing the whole kit and kaboodle. I wrote a chck for a gazillion dollars, but with rebates and refunds, end price will be about 30% less.

I will be cool! I will not have to deal the humidity! My asthma will be thanking me! WOO HOO!

I'll save congrats so as not to jinx the installation - but am glad to hear you'll be feeling cool soon!

Check with your Dr. and accountant because part of it may be tax-deductible if you have asthma and your dr. recommends A/C for medical reasons.

(Here in B'more it's not an option for folks with asthma...it's a necessity! Yesterday was our first "code orange" day for bad air quality, when people with asthma and other problems are advised to limit outdoor exertion.)
