's the newest list I've seen regarding aid offers from other countries. I see our government is giving mixed stories and the media is now hedging as to what has been accepted, what has been rejected, and what is still pending. Many of the countries listed in this article have a comment such as "waiting for request for assistance". Sounds like BushSpeak to me. I want to thank all of these countries (and any that have been omitted from the list) for offering aid. Not that my opinion means much...
