OT - Need Ideas for a Birthday

A very dear male friend of mine will be turning 80 the first part of May. I just have to get him *something* for this big day. He's a real jokester, reaaally appreciates the ladies, loves music and dancing and eating and just plain having fun. He doesn't live near me either so whatever I get will have to be mailed. Anyone have some really brilliant, funny or otherwise ideas? Hellllllp

What about a bellydanser-gram? My uncle loved the one we got him for his 60th birthday.

I'm looking into something like that Amber - but it's a little hard when you live 100's of miles away. I think that's a really neat idea tho'. :-))

One of my friends arranged for a one day learning session in a race car for her husband's 75th. He came home remarking that since he now had something other than gray hair in common with Paul Newman, she needed to treat him better.

He also said it was wonderful and exciting.

In the same vein, how about a hot air balloon ride?

I second Lucille if your friend is into racing. We just did that for my Dad last month, and he still is raving about it to everyone.
