We did sleep under our own roof starting on Tuesday.....after we finally kicked the DirecTV installer out at around 11:45 pm that is! Poor guy, tried over and over to get the office folks to actually activate our system. They kept making him reboot the box and check connections.

After he left I called them, using my "best customer" status got it all fixed in about 15 mins.

We are still dealing with boxes. Everything that survived the fire was in storage, and now we get the fun of figuring out where a box marked "mixed stuff" belongs. Mind you...they are almost all marked "kitchen" as well! Even a box that had my knitting needles and other stitching tools!

Ah well, another couple weeks and things will be all settled in!

You are the latest person I know of having troubles with DirecTv "installers". What is going on with that!

Hey - what a great way to "find stuff" - aren't you supposed to unpack those kitchen boxes first? ;)

Unpack a few more boxes and you can sit quietly in a corner fondling stash...

A buddy of DH's has had DirecTV out 16 times since June for an installation problem.

Gibbering? That's what I was doing after packing up DFIL's house.

I've found Paradigm Lost and it's fibers, so can at least stitch that one!
