I'm not sure what you mean - I really would like to get in touch with her again. We used to go over to the chat when About.com was Miningco.com. She was nice enough to loan me the chart for my daughter. I'd just like to return the chart is all.

Malarkey is a carry on, a to do etc. The poster was dreaming up an excuse to advertise her product, it had likely nothing to do with borrowing a pattern SEVEN years ago lol If it did, she should be ashamed to be only now returning something borrowed!

Odd though that after seven years there is a desire to return something and you take the opportunity to advertise your product three times. Why don't you ask over on rctmarketplace ? They like ads.

Well, as far as advertising my product, my website is in my tagline. I erased it because obviously it has offended you. I don't post here at RCTN very much so maybe my website was against the rules. I know posting in html is, and I don't think I did that. I apologize for that as well.

As for the chart - I just found it - my daughter was 9 years old at the time and it was mixed up in her American doll clothes. I would have returned the chart a long time ago but thought the chart was lost until a week ago. I thought this might be a good place to look for Robbie.

Definitely not! If I borrow something, book, whatever, I am extremely careful with it and return it soonest.

I borrowed some very fat wooden knitting needles a couple of weeks ago to knit a specialty yarn fashion scarf. As soon as I was given them, I worked the scarf and returned them as soon as I was able.

I might be careless with my own property, but never another persons.

I have one - I've been trying to find her again and return the book but no sign of her or hubby! 13+ years now. (he's got an unusual first name, but a VERY common last)

Oh - I saw the links, if that`s what you mean. They didn`t ring any "Click on me NOW!" bells so I didn`t look at them - I just took it at face value, and still don`t think it was anything more than what it appeared.

I agree. The gal can't help it that her address contains the name of her business, and since there was nothing in the post saying "look at my products", only "this is my e-mail so Robbie can contact me", I didn't take it to be anything more than a plea for help.

I have here a book of DBF's that I've been slogging through for 4 years, and there are things I've loaned people over the years that I never expect to see again, so I also took it at face value. In fact, I gave the gal credit that she's willing to admit to her failing. I've overheard a number of conversations on the subject of "I just found Mary's whatsis, and I'm too embarrassed to return it to her after so much time has passed, so I'm just going to keep it."

I figured that, I took out the three ads.

I thought you were trying to accuse her of selling the Disney book instead of returning it to the person who owns it. As long as the ad is in the sig, I don't even notice it. It is legit for her to ask that someone send Robbie contact info via email since it would be wrong to post that here for all the spammers to grab. If your business e-mail is the only e-mail you have, that is what you post.
