Wondering

A recent post asking about seat cushions for a boat got me to wondering how/where Cea is? Unless she's posting under a different name, I haven't seen anything from her in ages. Anyone know?

Beverly, Do you remember that Cea had a lot of domestic upheaval in her life a while back. At that time she was without a computer. I'm inclined to think that she just hasn't settled all her problems and probably doesn't have access to a computer yet. I want to think that one of these days we'll see a post saying I'm Baaaaack. She's just not one to stay away so long without a good reason. Juno

I do remember seeing a post saying the poster (whose nick I don't remember) hadn't seen Cea 'so happy in a long time' (or words to that effect), but I did not *know* the context. I recollect that she always referred to her spousal unit as "h" rather than "DH", so assumed that her domestic arrangements were not entirely happy. I also think she had health issues, that's why I'm concerned. I hope she is well, and enjoying singlehood, or whatever makes her happy.

I just did a little research and found the following. I don't know if this is a complete address but I'll give it try and send an email. I'll let you know what I get back J From: snipped-for-privacy@aol.com - view profile Date: Sun, Jul 24 2005 2:48 pm Email: snipped-for-privacy@aol.com Groups: alt.sewing Not yet rated Rating: show options

Hi All, this is from neighbor's 'puter, as I don't have mine hooked up yet--bought one a yard sale, so we'll see if it works...aren't I a trusting soul?

Been missing all of you, and our scintillating sewing discussions. Still up in the air here, hoping to get the Big D sorted out in the coming month, expect I'll be back online very soon. I'm looking forward to seing what y'all talked about while I was 'out to lunch'. Sally and Sharon both have my street addy, hope to stay here, I promise I'll be back online soon. Hugs to All. Cea

Well that was a big nothing. I tried but my email bounced right back. Possible ,hopefully some will recognize the beginning of the address I posted and send us the complete address. Juno

The archives on Googlegroups no longer show complete e-mail addresses, in order to prevent harvesting. A little birdie told me that Cea is still getting sorted out, and hopes to be back online in the near future. Please, even if you *know* her e-mail or snail-mail address, don't post it here without severe munging, you never know who's watching/harvesting.

Glad to hear that she's on her way. Got it about the address. If you are in contact with her, please tell her I'd love to hear from her and if she's open to being contact perhaps you and I can work out something. Juno

And send her my love as well! I think of her often, and wonder how she is. I get the impression that things fell apart fairly suddenly, and it would be good to know she was doing fine.

I sure hope everything works out for her. I miss her valuable insights, her sense of humor and her uncommonly good form. She certainly deserves better domestic tranquility than she apparently received so I hope all the bad karma is gone now. Be well, Cea, we hope to see you soon.

I do hate to "me, too," but I miss Cea too much to let it stop me. I am one who hopes Cea will come back soon, and that she is well and getting better by the minute.

Me too! Joanne wrote exactly what I've been thinking. Cea is one person I have sorely missed and hope she has her life together again very soon so she can rejoin us. Emily

Ok, everyone who has responded in this thread, I'm sending Cea a snail-mail note tomorrow, and I'll print off all your messages and send them along UNLESS you specifically request I not do so. Please e-mail me at beidesign [at] comcast dot net if you prefer to keep your best wishes to Cea online *only*.

Ditto from me. Cea had sent me her home address, etc., but my email program crashed and I lost it all (along with everything else important), and I no longer have a way to contact her, either. But I was just thinking about her the other day, oddly enough, and wondering how she was doing. I'm glad to know things are looking up for her.

Beverly, Your address is bouncing. I had a couple of things I wanted to include in a note to Cea and I don't want to put it here. Juno

You can't simply "Reply:" to as that address is munged in a feeble attempt to avoid bot-harvesting. The address I put in the *body* of the above message will go through.

I did some dumb thing like misspell or some other thing and that was my problem. Karen emailed me your address again and now I have everything straightened out. Ooops your email just came through. Thanks for the note. Juno

I had not sealed the envelope yet, so I'll print your message and include it. I have to make a run to the post office, this envelope is getting fatter by the moment. ;-)

Beverly: If it is not too late, please include my good wishes for Cea. I had a computer crash and lost her phone number. (ARGH!) I am just across the River and in the Phone Book, so Cea can call if she remembers my full name. (Not posting that here though.) I'd be delighted to be in contact with her again.

Thanks, PAT, quilt>
