New magazine????

I bought this magazine at Kroger. I have never seen anything like this before. This magazine calls "Memories Community". It's has lot of good things like scrapbooking, rubber stamping, archiving, paper crafting, embellishing and many more ideas. I just thought you all should know about this magazine (it's new one for me as I have never seen that before). Get that magazine at Kroger or at the scrapbook stores near you.

Yeah that has been around for awhile... I am always getting emails from them to join the "community" -- I think they have smallish expos and things like that but IMHO if I am going to pay that kind of money I will do one of the bigger well known groups! :) But the magazine isn't half bad :)

I've never heard of it either. We have a Kroger, so I might have to stop at the mag section next time I'm in there.

ok... let me rephrase that! :) hehe What I meant to say was.. when you pay for membership... your membership "discounts" are not that great... so you may as well just pay regular price at the expos and save some $$ :) I was getting this one confused with another one... sorry! :) But the magazine isn't half bad and they do have the Memories Expo every year in different cities :) I think it's only $30 to join and you do get the magazine then I think too... so on second thought maybe it isn't that bad of a deal! ;)

Sorry I am a little wishy washy today! It's Monday afterall!! :P

They are the people from the "Memories Expo" fairs so many of us go to. And this is actually only the first or second magazine they publish. I think it is the first, but I could be worng. What is great about them is that the magazine contributors are store keepers, design artists, teachers and so forth, namely the real people out in the trenches.

Actually, had you joined, you would also have gotten free advertizing in the magazine. Not too shabby, IMHO as advertizing in such a magazine is terribly expensive!

First of all - HIYA Marcie!! I saw your screen name and thought, "We haven't seen her in ages!!"

I saw that magazine too last week and picked it up. It had some OK info in it but I was not as impressed with it as a couple others.

Welcome back and hope to see ya more!!

nada for 05 (unless redoing and adding to some pages counts!)

HI.

I saw the magazine in Barnes and Noble. Although it was well presented, I couldn't justify the price.

It is sort of like all of us finding a printer and introducing our talents to the world at large.

Happy croppin,

Kate
