I am a stay at home mom with two boys Taylor age 6 and Justin age 3 soon to be 4. I am also expecting another in January (suppose to be a girl this time). I started scrapbooking a few years ago with creative memories. My friend Christina has just talked me into trying new scrapbook ideas with chalk and eyelets and thought this would be a good way to get started.

Hi Natalie and welcome! This is a great place to learn about eyelets and chalk and some of us will even convince you that you must have a Sizzix. I am just kidding :) we just talk about the things we love so much! I am like you, started with CM and branched out into more fun stuff. I have learned so much from this group, I hope you enjoy and feel free to ask questions!

I'm Angie and live in TX. Married for less than a year to Dan (cute lil PIsces I met at an island). No kids, yet. Working on getting a dog, but we are renting, so that's kind of a problem. I'm 27 and I've been scrapping for about 2-3 years more or less.

I would say longer than that, but back when I started just pasting pixs on any kind of paper and just making cute family albums, I had no idea what acid or ligning free meant. =) SO, I've had to redo some of the old albums I made years ago. Some of them were getting yellow already.

I hope you get your wish of a girl this time =)

I recently tried my hand at chalking and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I'm not painting portraits, but doing some highlighting here and there and it looks great. Jump in you'll be glad you did.
