That happened to my husband with lobster. He had to be careful seafood dishes contained no lobster, he had the same warning. He had not long had a course of chemo and the doctors told him, super allergies were fairly common after undergoing chemo.

Mom's kitchen is painted peach, so I've stitched several things for her with peaches on them.

At a rummage sale, I acquired (for a whole dollar!) a book of charts which includes such things as a huge head of cabbage (as in, large enough to use as a throw rug) and a basket which you can either stitch filled with flowers or filled with assorted veggies. I don't believe I've ever seen a chart for asparagus before! I was contemplating pulling out just the sparrow-grass portion and making a bookmark for Mom, because there is no way that I am stitching that whole big basket in her lifetime!

I did consider that if I re-do my kitchen like Cousin Ro's, with a built-in bench around the table, I might stitch the veggie basket as a pillow for the bench. But the money for that construction is a long way off. (Yes, Saturday's winning Lotto ticket was sold in Sacramento, but not to anyone I know.)
