OT: While we're on the subject of Sarah

I would have felt even less like calling my MIL mother had my mother already died. I wonder how the whole thing began, smacks a bit of the woman 'given' in marriage.

Both of my DDIL call me Mom. Aya always called me Mom, because DS Chris told that was my name. Irene knew DS Erick for 8 yrs before they married. She called me "Mrs. V" before and Mom after. DD Sarah boyfriend of 4 years calls me "Mrs. V" and she calls his mother "Mrs. R".

Oh, I have already heard a lot of discussion of Michelle's black and red dress and it was NOT complimentary. IMHO, makes fashion minded people look a bit shallow and catty.
