I have been looking for a text generator like your for a long time -- thanks for doing this. Is it possible to put in a feature to erase the last letter? I spelled a word wrong but I saw it right away, then when I tried to clear it, I lost the whole thing. Thanks!

Believe me, this function is number ONE on my wishlist, but, I promissed myself to other things first :-) As I'm not much of a programmer and it seems like I made the wrong choises to be able adding an erase feature. So, I'll have to look for a different approach that will allow a 'backspace' button, and the other things on my wishlist. It will take a while. For now, spell carefully! Grea

I "second your emotion" for adding a backspace/erase feature. The text generator works quite well, otherwise. I applaud the ingenuity of Ms. van Vlerken in creating her web site and the text generator.

Well, it kept me awake and finally did I find a solution, and some more:

1. erase individual characters by a double click
2. set text alignment left, center, right
3. a 5/10 grid is added in the background (yes/no print is set by your browser)
4. you can print a fitting graphpaper to layout the text on paper
