precut frame moulding kits - where to buy?

My mother has been using lengths of pre-cut frame moulding to frame her own cross-stitch and embroidery pieces, but her usual mail order supplier is discontinuing the product, and we haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

The mouldings were available in fixed lengths (e.g. 4", 6", 8", 10" ...) already mitred, and with grooves cut to take the corner-joining hardware which was included. You just ordered the length and width you wanted for the size of your finished frame, then put the pieces together yourself. It was more flexible than buying pre-made frames, especially if your work wasn't a standard size (e.g. long and narrow).

My mum found this a really cheap and convenient way of finishing her work and is disappointed she can't get the pre-cut mouldings any more. Being a pensioner, custom framing is rather too expensive, and she's not interested in doing DIY framing from scratch (she'd rather be sewing!)

Has anyone seen them for sale? In Australia would be great, but anywhere that will ship internationally by mail would be of interest.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what it's called in Australia, but in the US, you'd hunt for "sectional framing". e.g.:

Also known as "modular framing" in some stores.
