Oh yes Pat - they were so comfortable and cool to wear - I had a denimy coloured one with stitching - almost cross-stitching - across the bodice - it was loose fitting but not so loose as to mistake it for a maternity dress. It is so hard to find cotton anything these days - everything is that bloody spandex and polyester - absolutely horrid if you're into the hot flash mode. Groooan (12 years in November says DH - gee, I didn't know he was keeping track - hmmmmm) :-))

You know, I never had those (hot flushes) although my poor old Mum had them dreadfully. Never had anything peculiar in that line - everything just stopped at 57!
I had a red one, a blue one and a cream one - mostly sort of Paisley patterned as I recall. Definitely cheesecloth, and absolutely beautiful to wear. I made a couple of caftans, too.
Do you remember catsuits? Lovely - unless you needed to pee in a hurry! LOLOL!

Would that be the same as a jumpsuit? That's what we called them here - one full piece outfit that you definitely had to take practically all off to go pee. There were a PITA for that reason.

Probably the same thing - all in one, as you say, with a zip up the back - and, at the time, flared trousers. That was in the days when I was slim. Mind you, I weigh the same now as when I was in my twenties, having lost a lot of weight this year, what with one thing and another! Bet I could get into it again now. Trouble is the need to pee isn`t what it was then!!!
