Proofreading ON TOPIC

One of the current projects going through the works over at DP (see sig) is the book "Embroidery and Tapestry Weaving: A Practical Text-Book of Design and Workmanship" by Mrs. Archibald H. Christie. Looks like the third revised printing from 1912. Just finished proofing a section on cut work and have moved on to embroidery with gold and silver threads. The illustrations and drawings are not too bad and the text is interesting. If anyone would like a heads up when this book is posted to Project Gutenberg (available online for free), let me know.

I would very much like to know. Dianne

Ditto - I've been having fun with various things that have shown up there already!

I'd like to know too! Embroidery texts are too few! Good on ya for helping them out a Project Gutenberg!
