Quilt design help needed.

Why not just reverse engineer it with a photocopier?

Gosh this almost looks like a Hawaiian design - I wonder if you searched for Hawaiian quilts if something like this would come up. It's very pretty. Good luck finding it.

I suspect it may be based on the old "red and green" quilts. Jeanna Kimball wrote a comprehensive book on this -

Thanks for the suggestions and I'll try looking in some of the books. I left out a couple of facts which make it unlikely that it is a Baltimore or Hawaiian pattern. This quilt was probably made in the 1920s in Manitoba, Canada by Scotch settlers from Ontario. Unless of course they had input from some Americans who came north. Of course, now that I want to research the design, all the family members who knew something about the makers of it have passed away. Isn't that always the problem, you learn too late that it is important to listen to your elders, or at least ask questions.

It's actually very possible that it's a Baltimore style quilt pattern. The 1920s saw a flurry of nostalgic activity in North America, and Baltimore album style quilts started in the 1840s as 'remembrance quilts', given to people as they left their homes to start new ones elsewhere. Women's magazines of the early 1900s had quilt patterns in them, appliqued as well as pieced.
