Re: Knitting: My head just exploded!

I would have loved to have seen it!

Next year maybe.

I am knitting a stadium blanket for th eldest grandson, who is a freshman at PSU. He is at the Erie campus, and it gets COLD!! I thought it would give him brownie points with a date if he brought it along to a game!

What fun - and great for taking out frustrations. I did a short class a couple of years ago at a stitching getaway. Bought a kit to make an hysterical gnome - and then the dog actually got into it - tearing up the instructions - fortunately not getting into the hardpack of the needles. The owner kindly sent me another copy of the eaten instructions. It's lots of fun.

Sounds that way. The local shops in this area do an annual "farm" tour. All the places with sheep, llamas, alpaca, open for a weekend and the knitters/crocheters travel all around - and can buy at the farms. My friends have gone a few times - but this past year I don't remember them doing it. I'm hoping for next year.

If Cheryl saw it, you saw it. I've only got the waist band done so far, so it might not have looked like a sweater - just random triangle strung together. LOL!

That`s a nice one - not all that hard to do either - after about 40 rows you wouldn`t have to look at the pattern (apart from the shaping).
