Sew/Craft/Quilt Festival

Most of the booths were machine sewing and quilting, which I don't do, so I was able to make quick work of my Grand Tour of the exhibit hall.

Needle & Frame was in the last aisle. Sandra is just delightful. I sat there for about an hour stitching on something of my own while she taught the MITI.

As I was leaving, it dawned on me that the MITI would be a good contribution for the EGA needlework gadget swap at the holiday party, so I bought the kit to work on at home, and will (hopefully!) get it done by December so I can participate in both the ornament and the accessory swap this year.

The letters stand for Make IT Take It = MITI . It is a shorter class, usually to stitch a small item that you finish in the allotted time (often just an hour) and take home with you at the end. At most Needlework class venues, the classes are for much larger items, you get all of the supplies to finish the project but you usually only practice any new or involved techniques or stitches. The MITI classes are usually considerably less expensive (often about $15.00) than the bigger classes which often cost between $70 to $100+. CiaoMeow >^;;^<
