Stand problem

I bought an Edmunds universal craft stand which at 50% off was cheaper than replacing the clamp in my artisan/gazelle one. Unfortunately, it doesn't rotate so when I want to get to the back, I go through some weird contortions.

Anyone have ideas?

Ummm - you might be able to replace the clamp with a universal one from K's creations - depending. I did that on my original from the craft show lap (sit on it) stupid stand.

Otherwise - oh, well.

I took a quick look and if you are handy with a drill, you may be able to buy some one by one wood and drill a hole so the clamp is in a different direction. I don't think I can explain it well.

Personally, I went for the money and bought the Lowery stand which is amazing. If you search around by Googling Edumnds universal stand you may get some ideas how you can rig yours.

If I liked the artisan stand, then I would replace the clamp on it. Why use a stand that you don't like and have to modify? And the other stand is not being used at all. Sometimes the cheaper way isn't the best. IMHO
