Paper trimmers again?

Is the Zision paper trimmer worth buying? It's about ten bucks cheaper than other trimmers... are you getting good value for money? Or is it a piece of cheap crud that doesn't cut worth a darn?

The trimmer DH bought me is totally unsuitable for craft purposes (boohoo) so he told me to find the one I want and buy it... and naturally I want to get it as cheaply as possible given that we already wasted $10 on it and we don't have it to spare. So far I've seen the following options in the local craft stores -

Fiskars 12-inch portable trimmer, $20 Cutterpede $25 Cutterpede Pink $25 (I'm tempted just because it's my favourite colour!) Zision trimmer $12.99

There are also a bunch of fiskars trimmers on Ebay including the pink ones, but by the time you've paid for shipping they're not any cheaper than the ordinary one in the store. Which one sounds like the best buy? (any great internet bargains to point me to?)

I bought the Zision and returned it the next day. I tried it several times and never could get it to cut straight. I would not recommend it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cutterpede! You can even purchase different decorative cutting blades. Yes, it is very accurate! God bless, Dorothy in NY

Thanks April... I think I'll skip that one then! I can live without a trimmer for awhile, and then I'll get a Cutterpede. :)

Of the ones you've picked out, I would go with the Cutterpede myself. I've used it a few times and found it awkward at first but I really do think it's me. LOL
