Paper Grrrr!

Speaking of paper... I love it and use a lot of patterned paper. When I see it and like it I buy 2 thinking I'll never see it again. Well, I have this wonderful sand like paper and only bought 2. Love it wish I had at least 2 more. Don't remember where I bought. Now I have to go to plan B on the layout. Maybe I should start buying 4 when I see paper I like.

I buy 3 or 4 of every paper i buy.. started off cuzz i was doing several of the same albums.. now its just habbit.. maybe one day before i die ill use some! lol

Lynne.....

not like you asked for my two cents, but while taking SDU, we were told that a good rule of thumb is to buy 5 of whatever paper you like. Two for a 2-page layout, two for matting and such on another one or two layouts, and one to take back to the store with you to match up for the next time.

Sounds crazy, but I have found that I have been doing this, and been pretty happy about it. :)

That's exactly what I wanted to hear! I buy 2 thinking I'll do the 2 page layout and then I use one for mounting and I'm in trouble. I really like the 5 page idea. I'm going to start doing that.

Good advice! Making notes LOL

OMG!!! 5 of each!!!! Do ya'll kow how many pieces that is when I go on a buying frenzy of 40 to 50 pieces at a time?! I can not imagine my cc bill let alone where it would be stored. So, DOES THAT rule apply to those of us idiots who like, err, LOVE paper!!!! (not admiiting I am a idiot or anyone else!)

OKC Dave 53 pages since 1 may 03

Oh Dave, believe me, I do not do this with ALL papers - just ones I can picture using on several different layouts. You know, like 7 Gypsies paper.....

Otherwise, darn, we'd all be in debt to Visa for sure!!!
