Stashy reading

Thank you, now I don't feel so bad about all my unread books. I think I'm just a general bookaholic. I'm always thinking about what I want to read next after I finish my current read.

Damn, why didn't I think of that! :-)

Unfortunately, as I spent most of my free time the last few weeks outside getting the yard in shape, I really let the housework slide. I needed a day to catch up on stuff. I'm still not caught up, but its manageable now.

The rain from last week and the hot summer we're having are making my vegetables go wild! I staked up the plum tomatoes, but I think the grape tomatoes may be a lost cause. I'll give tham a shot tonight, though. I've nicknamed one of the watermelon vines Seymour, since it seems to have taken on a life of its own; I'm afraid if I let the cat near it, I'll never see her again! My housemate was home for the weekend for the first time in a few weeks, and he said it looks like its making a break for the hill and freedom. I should try to get pictures up somewhere.
