I recently "inherited" an unfinished cross stitch piece from a family member without the pattern! It's almost complete and I suppose I could fake it. But if anyone knows the piece and where I could find the pattern, I would be most appreciative.
It contains several sampler motifs including dogs, a flower, crowns, a squirrel(?), and a pink deer (?). The verse reads "The noble dog in life/the firmest friend./the first to welcome/formost to defend./whose honest heart/is still his/masters own./who labours fights/lives and cleaveth/for him alone."
I would greatly appreciate any information on where I can find the pattern to finish this piece.
