Could be an LNS who knows there is a market, or at least would attract attention to the store.

Still shaking my head. $15 - $20 dollars for a pair of scissors to snip threads. $200+ no way....

Some of the buttons Bobbie's mom showed us today were worth more than $200. You're thinking of scissors as an item to use, but the person who bought them probably paid for a collectors' item. Those scissors are worth more if they never snip thread. Whole different ballgame.

BUT THEY WERE A SEIZURE at some the hands of some security guard - I feel for the person who lost them and can see the collectible value of them, but they aren't "old" or "vintage" (but then again, look at the price Beanie Babies were commanding a decade ago).

And will you write up yesterday's report for the group? Please? After I drive DS to school, get DD on the bus, I have to do errands upon errands and I need to borrow your cleaner. The sand and grit on the floors is terrible.

They don't have to be old or vintage to be collectible. And unfortunately, I have trouble feeling sorry for anyone who didn't know better than to try to take them on a plane.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to report. We went to Bobbie's and had a great time. Much ooohing and ahhing and eating, but no stitching was accomplished.

Like the Beanie Babies

I don't feel sorry for her at all

Hold on - you knit, I knit (a little). You enabled. And I may have to try doing yarn overs and slipping stitches soon...

Yeah, but these days saying I knit is like saying I breathed. I almost can't put the damned stuff down. I wanted to stitch!

But I really shouldn't complain. I had a great time hanging out with you all and Bobbie let me off the hook by writing her own report.
