Just wanted to share, for Christmas a friend bought me the black and decker rechargable power scissors. They are AMAZING!! I cut out a pattern and fabric for a nightgown in half the time it would have taken me otherwise. They are powerful, fast and very easy to turn and handle around the darts. The charge had not slowed down by the time I was done and the pattern had many little pieces. I used to hate the cutting out part and had bought several different types of scissors and even tried a rotary cutter but these make it fast easy and fun.

Thanks for the info on the B&D power scissors; I need something like them to ease the stress on my left wrist, while cutting small items. I sincerely hope everyone had a great start to 2008, as I did. I've been offline most of the past two weeks because of sewing for Christmas and then DS surprised me with a trip to my hometown in mid-MS for our annual family get-together. It was sad in a way because one DS lost her fight to live last February. Both DS and I were ill last year and unable to attend and missed seeing her then. Emily

I think you will like them, I also have wrist trouble at times and cutting out little things hurts my hands (arthritis) but these helped a lot. I've never had such neat darts LOL.
