Hello!
I love to cross stitch book marks and small projects. Even the most simple project seems to take a lot of time. How long on average does it take for you to complete a simple cross stitch project?
Thanks, Cindy

I don't usually put a time factor on my own projects, I stitch to relax so for me 'it gets done when it gets done'; if it's for someone else I usually start in good time so I don't have to rush it.
I too stitch to relax. I go in spurts to where I get a "itch" to stitch then I go crazy but then there are times where I won't touch it for a few weeks or so.

That sounds just like me :-)
I stitch to relax too... then I find myself wanting to give a gift and then I feel a little more pressed for time, but I still try to take my time.
Anyway, thanks for the replies. I appreciate you tak> Tricia skrev:
I think I`ve mentioned this before, but I ALWAYS allow enough extra space on my fabric so I can do a couple of bookmarks around the edge, without having to dismantle the stretcher bars or whatever. It just gives you a bit of variety! One of my favourite ones is done using variegated threads to do a whole lot of Algerian Eyes . Small flowers and Rhodes Hearts make a pretty combination, and bookmarks are a great way to try out new stitches in whatever pattern takes your fancy. I was quite surprised to find how well they sold at our craft fair, nicely packaged. A good way to use up those thread remnants, too.
By the way, Brenda, I should really STRANGLE you for starting me off on Zuma, Chuzzles, etc!!! ;-))

How far have you got on that? I`ve only got to 9/4 so far, but getting closer every time. DD#2 is at 12.

Sounds about right in this house! LOL

Wow. What a great idea. If you have mentioned it before, I've missed it. I will definitely be leaving extra space for little projects in the future.
