I like the lace border on the hankerchief. I always intended to get into doing lace and never did. My grandmother did bobbin lace and I have some of her stuff though. Not enough time to do everything.

Thanks, I like making stuff for people. She will get it next week.

The same thing for me, my aunt gave me some stuff from a flea market. It's not as hard as it looks. I took two courses but forgot it quickly, you have to do it constantly.
Boy do I know about the time thing. Today I sorted some colors and charts and wondered how did I have time to do them all. Sometimes I use an Eva Rosenstand or Permin Catalog for good night reading and dream about all the stuff I want to do.
Well, I'm fortunate in that my ability to buy more stash is in tune with my ability to actually complete projects ... which means I won't be starting anything more soon.I've found keeping a list of completed projects has helped with frustration in not finishing a lot of things. I usually finish more than I remember, although not so much this year.
That's why little projects like bookmarks are so nice. They're substantial, yet they don't really take that long. They work up quickly, serve a useful purpose, and they are a private delight every time they are seen. Dora
