Enjoy, Lynne
I love the fact that the walk in closet is about the same size as my first NYC apartment when I was single.
You are very lucky to have the space and loving hubby to enable your creativity.
I like the yellow extension cord. I'd add a sun face to it on one side and then a moon on the other and call it a day.

I love it. What a great idea!

This room has been about 14 years in the waiting. I'm almost embarrassed to talk about this being a craft room. Several of the carpenters thought the closet was a bedroom and I felt like such a decadent heel when I said it was a closet for my crafts.
I wonder sometimes if I couldn't just wait another 5 or so years and use one of the kids' bedrooms when they go off to college. I'm slowly learning I have nothing to feel guilty about and the monthly mortgage helps remind me I'm paying for every penny of it. :)
2 years ago my mom almost came to live with us and my husband was where will be put her. I said, "Your office goes in our bedroom." He does no real work in there that requires it to have it's own room. It's sort of his hobby room, which he has HAD for 14 years. Anyhow if my mom needs to come and stay we'll move his office into the craftroom and I think he'll feel a little less freaked out about it being in there verses in our bedroom.WOW! That looks like a great place to do all kinds of crafty things! Lots of sunlight, roomy, and I love the sink in the closet.
That is really great Lynne! Congrats! & don't forget that you deserve every square inch of that room!:>)
I love that extension cord & it gives me a great idea too:>)
Lynne, wow-what a room! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Can I come play? Lol! Barb:o)
Room looks great. Love all the windows. You'll be able to scrap and watch the kids in the pool at the same time. That would be great.

What a FANTASTIC space Lynne. And you deserve it. That's a great idea to have a sink in the closet! If I ever get to have/build my own craft room I want one just like yours. Thanks for the photos!
LYNNE, I am in LOVE WITH YOUR ROOM!!! Enjoy every moment of it as you have waited a long time for it!! I am so ENVIOUS!!!!!!! God Bless, Dorothy in NY
Wow Lynne, what hat a great room. I like the sink and the large closet. Looks like you have lots of space to spread out and be creative in. Enjoy!
What an awesome room Lynne. I wish my scraproom had windows! My only option would be to change the doors and put doors in that have windows. Truth is though, that I don;t think any of us notice that there are no windows when we start having fun!
Hope you enjoy your room for many, many years to come.
You're absolutely right... get some friends together.... a craft project to doand everyone will be saying "What windows?" :) If it's light that you need I'll take a picture of something I had put in the closet, craftroom and my bedroom... a light tunnel. Not sure what they are called exactly, but it goes up to the roof. It's a tunnel with reflective material on the inside. The first week the one in my bathroom was installed ... I went in there 3 times a day to turn the light off. HA! The light wasn't on. That's how bright it is in there now. I was teasing the contractor I may have to apply sunscreen to be in my bathroom.
I don't notice there aren't any windows....In fact that's one of the great things about your scrap room M-C. You don't notice the sun has moved and start to think of the many things you SHOULD be doing! LOL
