All the cross stitch I have done has been on Aida, mainly 18 count. I would now like to try evenweave. Is there any web site that has good instructions and tips on using this material, such as needle size, floss, number of strands. etc.?

I have already seen a link to Kathy Dyer's site. I would suggest you take particular note of how to spot the "vertical thread". This, IMHO, is the best tip with regard to stitching evenweaves.
