Well, I'll stitch today

It is a no school, snow day here in NH. I'm planning on laying low. Don't know if HS practice is cancelled for DS. I'm waiting to see if DD's practice is cancelled - I'll make a judgment call around 4:30 on her. DS's is very close by, so getting there, even if it takes the double the usual time, will only take 15 minutes.

I'm back to working on a surface work pillow - lots of boring green, but I don't want to pull out something new right now. The other choice is to decide how to finish a scissor fob. I'm thinking of doing a four-sided stitch around the edge and maybe finding some lavender blossoms to mix in with the fiber fill.

It's cold for Florida here today so I think I'll stay in and try to finish the Laura Perin Flying Geese piece I'm working on.

I think I better start thinking of what to do next or I'll wind up without something great to look forward to.

I know, everyone should have such problems!!! lol

Lucille - I may have another Laura Perin or two to share - email me off list and we'll compare notes.

Sounds like a good idea to be. I'd kind of like to start something new and different, but I have so much stuff to do here (like the house work and try and re-org the stash) that it's easier to just plug away at my surface work piece.

This one wasn't particularly hard to do, provided you didn't get tired and forget to pay attention to the last row and just go on stitching way beyond that spot and have to frog back.

I'll try to take a picture when it's done.

I promise - since I'm shoveling today, I'll get to the post tomorrow, and send the turtles. Really, really. They're all packed up, complete with a little extra surprise from me. You'll only have to get the perle cotton for the construction, and the fiber fill. I've put the fabric, the WDW, and the WDW wool fabric in the pack.

Exactly. I miss FLA of late. One of Donna's & my local stitchin' pals is moving to Boca - she's older than us, a bit younger than you, but I'll send some info as she's hoping to hook up and meet some people, especially stitchers. Does awesome hardanger.

In the meantime, I had an offer for a job in Madison - sadly, we're not relocating. Now, let's see if anything local comes thru. I've got a job fair thing tomorrow, and Thursday, and next Wednesday. And just applied for a job in West Va - which I'd really like actually. But, who the heck knows.
