Well hockey season is winding down and I am grateful for it. After Saturday, DS's HS season is over and all he has left is practice and his trip to Nationals. Last weekend was playoffs for one of DD's leagues, they came in
4th and that's just fine. So, her season is winding down too, but then lacrosse season will come along and we'll all be getting lots more fresh air.
Stitching wise, I've been busy and I'll even post a few pictures. For DD's "I'm an Irish Immigrant" project, I stitched a simple shamrock on some aida, edged it in green hem lace and then tea dyed the whole thing.
I'm mostly done on a little cardinal that will become a pin cushion for a dear friend. I've finally decided the French knots and beads will become fewer beads and a few eyelets. Maybe tonight after the varsity game....
I'm cooking away on a little poppy chart I found while spring cleaning the computer. It will become another pin cushion.
Weather allowing, DD and I will go up to Contoocook Needlework Gallery to pickup this
Well - that's about it. It's school vacation week so, the food is disappearing VERY quickly, so I'm going to head off on the errands after my breakfast and shower.
