Wouldn't this be fun to own?

I'd like to play, er purchase -- but as part of a group. Frankly the finances are painfully lean of late, but I'd contribute to the pot.

Anyone else? Cheryl volunteered. (hahaha)

If anyone is actually bidding and wants partners, here's two!

Okay, everyone here is a witness in case something bad happens to me! LOLOL!

Looking at some of the other pictures, especially the silks, they remind me of the "before" pile of rayon I sent you!

Joan

I can untangle... good at that sort of thing (alas, experienced too!) And silk isn't "that" bad.

Ended up with a couple dozen partial skeins (I know, nothing compared with this pile) of snarled silk from Grandma -- all over 100 years old so I wanted to keep it. And yes, I am using it. It's a bit delicate, but it's kind of nice to use something she used when she was a child, circa 1900. Grandma was born in 1895, and the other in 1890.... The Youngster of the two was a needle afficionado... wish I was interested then because in retrospect, she could have taught me a lot.

Such is life.

OK guys - it's $202.50 with 4 hours to go. Who's in and how high will we go?

Linda

It's currently at $202.50. I can afford that. I'll put in a bid and we can discuss later who-all is going in on it.

So far, I have confirmations from Joan and LewMew. Bidding closes in about 3 hours, so I will simply go ahead and put in a bid just before the closing and see who else chimes in.

Darn! It went for $503 to a JoyceK. Joyce are you on this group? It was fun while it lasted. :)
