please help me with a vase I acquired :
this is the hardest part, describing the exterior part of the vase, the vase actually looks as though it has been dipped in sand or some other crushed material then the artist has painted a guilded pattern in over the sand like material.
so my best description all up is a vase made of a cream pottery with underglazed blue enamel dipped in sand like material with a hand painted guilded pattern. hope anyone can help with the name of this technique of the description above . that's the best I can do!
