6 months 'til Christmas...

There shall be no stitching for a couple of hours. The books I ordered from the sale just arrived. They were shipped on the 14th and I reckon the mail carrier traveled west from Washington to get here. ( My tax dollars at work.) Anyhow . . . they're here, they're here and gorgeous. I'm going to just wallow in the joy of them. Polly

I don't do much in the way of quilty Christmas gifts anymore (although the kids got tree skirts last year). I was thinking fall or something patriotic might be fun for summer sewing. The 25th days of the month always seem to remind me of the relation to December and all the holiday falderal, and how very quickly time flies.

Not sure about the date yet. Thankfully ds's intended has a mama that just married off her other daughter a couple years ago. They should know what they are doing. Taria, piecing here in the ac on very hot days.
