Jan.25 or there-abouts

Howdy!

That means it's 11 months (or less in some parts of the world) until Dec.25: Have you started your Christmas gifts/quilts, yet? LOL

For some of you it's already too late to meet this deadline; for others it's past-due from last year or the year before or....

Just a reminder. 8->

You're welcome.

Ragmop/Sandy -- doesn't do holiday quilting deadlines -- not anymore! ;-D

That is almost funny Sandy. I am still working on getting out of my funk but have been thinking if I get on the Halloween wallhangings for the grand-nieces and nephews I might have them done in time. (they already all have neat Christmassy ones and I know Easter is too soon to get anything finished) I don't work too well with deadlines myself, holiday or otherwise. Taria

Here, it means you just missed your Burns Night quilt.

(Not that I've ever heard of a Burns Night quilt - images from The Merry Muses of Caledonia, maybe?)

Those are fantastic. How come we've never heard of her here in Scotland where she painted those? (*)

I've been to Glenelg, once. Not many people have, it really is the arse-end of nowhere.

(*) actually I have an explanation. Her style is a bit like Peter Howson with more human sympathy and without the bombast and pretension, and Howson is such an aggressively unpleasant manipulator that I can well imagine him bullying reviewers into ignoring any competition.
